Abstract

School happiness is a goal which many educators, parents and students share. It could happen naturally or as a result of everybody’s efforts at school. Students, instructors and school management all may work together to achieve this. The objective of this study is to examine the happiness level of a school and their understanding of the fundamental elements which make up a happy school by teachers and principals. The aim of this study is to describe teachers and principal sources of happiness, describe the qualities of a happy teacher, show teachers eager to take part in gladness courses, and emphasize the profile of a happy school which teachers and school principals in Romania have built. There were 297 students in the course of the programme, 292 were teachers and five were school principals. They all came from rural and urban Romanian schools. Our approaches were both quantitative and qualitative. We used two surveys conducted in 47 schools for teachers and school principals as a tool for research. The results of the study reveal that both teachers and school principals are pleased, although it takes some work to achieve the sources of happiness. The managers were found to play a crucial role in building a pleasant school in which both teachers and kids are happy. Teachers and school principals would like to be ready in the classroom to teach happiness. They desire to take part in seminars or workshops designed to produce some joyful school architecture.
