This study evaluated the dynamics of steppe ecosystems in the south western slopes of the Tlemcen region, Algeria. The data was collected based on the biodiversity of the steppe vegetation that is grassland of the study area. The results on the bioclimatic analysis indicated that there is persisting drought in the study region with a dominance of toxic and thorny vegetation species. The results of the analysis of different factors (AFC) of degradation explored materials formed or produced from different plants particularly the grasslands. The latter presented a dynamic interest of a certain ecosystem. These findings also revealed characteristics of the grassland. It was also reflected by the frequent development of grassland of the Therophytiques and anthropozoiques species.
